Summary: Gaits is a traditional shoto character with fireballs, uppercuts, and teleports, but with a very different move synergy than most Capcom shotos. First off, his teleport can be feinted, making his destination very ambiguous. On top of that he can cancel any ground teleport into his fireball or uppercut, which can cross-up depending on the button used and the timing of when the move is inputted. He can also cancel into any of his special moves from ground normals, and even from air normals since Ikki Tousen and Shogyou Mujou are both air OK, and his 3-airdash limit allows him to keep this up for quite some time. Finally, he has a highly damaging command throw which he can use as a mix-up when teleporting in.

Summary: Helion is a VA who transforms into helicopter mode when airborne, and gains some of the most frightening air-to-ground presence available. On the ground, Helion has great dashing normals as well as an aimable sweeping laser for space control, and Flügel Bogen for anti-airing. Once he is in the air though, he has a fast hover boost, a varied arsenal of normals, and Himmel Fangen to catch opponents by surprise. With some good air re-boost skill, Helion can keep solid pressure from the air or make it a hassle for the opponent to catch you.

Summary: Super-8 has a wide variety of far reaching ground moves that give her amazing space control, and although her air options and mobility are subpar, she has eight jump boosts to help her get around as needed. At a distance, the Hell Deltas cover just about every screen space, and Octopus Jr. can force opponents to come closer or take chip damage. Once they're in, she has a capture grab, a stun, a low-hitting special, and an anti-air that are all pretty fast. Combine that with some oppressive pokes and you've got yourself a solid zoner.

Summary: Warlock is an oddly designed VA, who is missing many common gameplay elements in trade for super-powerful attacks and abilities. His ground light attacks are all multi-hitting, his heavy attacks have huge reach, and his 360 throw steals life. Imitation Alpha projects a clone of himself forward that can do damage with its attacks, while Imitation Beta is a fake. Warlock features a high number of projectile attacks, which may also be his greatest restriction; he may only have one projectile on the screen at once (Imitation Alpha included), so his methods of approach are often very segregated.
