Super Street Fighter IV has a system that will automatically correct which side an inputted move will come out on. For instance, if you are playing a shoto character like Ryu and someone knocks you down, you can often still successfully hit them with a shoryuken, even if they move to the other side while you're inputting the move. Auto corrects are not perfect and can sometimes result in screwing up a wake-up or anti-crossup strategy, but often they assist players in pulling off these strategies by correcting direction of the inputs for them.

Auto Corrects

Super Street Fighter IV has a system that will automatically correct which side an inputted move will come out on. For instance, if you are playing a shoto character like Ryu and someone knocks you down, you can often still successfully hit them with a shoryuken, even if they move to the other side while you're inputting the move. Auto corrects are not perfect and can sometimes result in screwing up a wake-up or anti-crossup strategy, but often they assist players in pulling off these strategies by correcting direction of the inputs for them.
