Hyperdrive Meter
New to KOF XIII is the Hyperdrive Meter (HD Meter), the thin blue bar sitting atop of the orange Super Meter gauge. A player's HD Meter is independent of the Super Meter, although both fill when hitting the opponent, having attacks blocked, and whiffing special moves, getting hit or blocking attacks.
HD Meter has three uses; using half a bar for Drive Cancels, using the entire bar to enter Hyperdrive Mode, and using the entire bar or remaining Hyperdrive Mode to use a Neomax .
