Kang is a powerhouse of a character that excels in offensive plays. With a fantastic cross-up and a BnB wall combo that can stun everyone. If you like high reward high execution rushdown, he's your guy.
Pros Cons
  • Big Stun Damage Combos: Kang can usually stun an opponent within 1-2 combos. If he gets a wall hit, then it's a guaranteed stun; even for Abubo. Bonus points for his supers causing stun damage.
  • Great Rushdown Options: Paired with his speed and his 9D, he can easily cross up opponents and get a stun combo in. He additionally has a 6B overhead and two command grab supers that can mix things up.
  • Predictable Gameplan: Once your opponent catches on to 9D being a cross-up you don't have much else to get in. Kang banks on that jump-in since his neutral isn't great outside of Firebomb. Kang can be chalked up to a knowledge check on most of his approaches.
  • Poor Utility: Kang's only viable specials are Firebomb and Kang Screw and they're not the best for anything other than offense. Kang Attack and Rolling Fire can be avoided due to their slowness and bad utility.
