Overview
In a nutshell
He ranks 5th on the current Brawl tier list, neither rising nor dropping in rank since Melee; his placement is due to his excellent overall disjointed range, speed in both frame data and mobility, power when he lands an attack on the tip of his sword (in particular his forward smash and down aerial),
edge-guard ability, good stats, and primarily favorable match-ups. However, he still inherits problems from his Melee incarnation. While his Dolphin Slash grants more horizontal distance, Dancing Blade no longer assists Marth's recovery, which causes Marth to have an only decent recovery. Additionally, Marth still has some approach problems due to his lack of a projectile. Overall, Marth is a very fast character with good disjointed reach along with great offensive and defensive options who has potential power and what could be considered one of the best aerial games.
