Hakan

Hakan has made a fortune by becoming the president of the world's leading edible oil manufacturer. He also gained fame and prominence in his expertise in Turkish oil wrestling. He is a likeable and has made numerous friends thanks to his lively personality. He is also married to a beautiful wife and loves his many lovely daughters. So what is there left for such a man to do? Simple: Hakan has decided to enter the world of Street Fighting purely for the enjoyment of it and to make his family proud by earning victories using his oil wrestling skills.


In a nutshell

Hakan has to be the most technical Grappler ever created in a Street Fighter game. He has all the standard qualities of a Grappler: slow moves, a Command Throw, high health, and high damage. But learning how and when to apply the oil to speed up those slow moves and increase the ranges on his 360 Command Throw really takes a lot of experience and familiarity with the character. And he also has the Oil Slide, a missile attack move that almost no other Grappler has ever had that allows him to attack from the opposite side of the screen. It takes a lot of work to learn Hakan, but he definitely is a lot stronger than most people give him credit for. Don't underestiamte him.
