Nagare is a very serious person who doesn't speak much. Shoma and his brother, Shuichi, are friends with him; Shoma sees him as a brother figure. When not in any water-related sports, he seems to be absent-minded, but becomes sharp-minded when in the water. Nonetheless, he's a good-natured person who will not hesitate to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Nagare is a low tier character that can fight against the top tier characters. These matchups give him access to EXPLOSIVELY high damage combo routes against majority of them. While Nagare is weak to zoning and has to make his way in along with having a lot of extremely unsafe and unusable special moves in neutral, His long reaching normals and ability to combo from them and into help him keep his spacing to ranges characters can sometimes have a hard time punishing unsafe normals and specials
