Introduction

Kyo is an offensively focused character with a variety of tools to get in, pressure the opponent, and deal damage. With his solid ground and air normals, as well as his 114 Shiki Aragami special and its follow-ups, he can bully his opponent to keep them locked down.

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Fantastic normals both on the ground and in the air
  • Strong combos thanks to an easily-accessible launcher and a hard knockdown
  • Good synergy with a wide variety of Strikers
  • Lacks unique answers to projectiles, making him potentially predictable against strong zoners
  • Has few ways to spend meter outside of taunts
  • Most rewarding combos have a high execution demand
