Overview
Tormentor is a very powerful character with great buttons and very high damaging strings at his disposal. Charged Punch is perhaps one of the best hard knockdown moves in the game in terms of its startup and recovery, and Charged Uppercut deals 20 damage (massive damage for a launcher in this game!) when used as a grounded combo ender. However, a lot of these powerful options cannot be effectively used against crouching opponents. Despite Tormentor having otherwise great selection of Mid and Low attacks to poke with, they often fail to string properly against short hitboxes.
Strings like make amazing r-cancel dash-in punishes, and by keeping
held down during the string and releasing it afterwards charges heat after creating space. His grabs are also excellent, and strings like
add a good amount of damage on a grounded opponent.
