Overview
In a nutshell
Ivysaur doesn't have Squirtle's speed and air game, nor does it have Charizard's weight and power, but what Ivysaur does have is range, and a set of strong finishers. Most of Ivysaur's attacks are either too weak or too telegraphed, which means Ivysaur has no choice but to play defensively. Ivysaur has it's long-ranged standard attacks, grab and it's razor leaf projectile to play keepaway, while it has Bullet Seed as a great damage racker up close. Ivysaur is a character you have to really put an effort in and doesn't really feel rewarding. However, learning to use it is an essential objective when picking up Pokemon Trainer.
