Desperation Moves (Otherwise known as DMs) are the name for what are commonly referred to as Supers.

Using a DM uses one Super Meter stock.
Certain DMs though like Ash's Sans-culotte (A~B~C~D) and Shen's Bakushin (C~A~B~C) cost 2 meters to activate.
Additionally, some DMs can be powered up as EX Desperation Moves for the cost of 2 meter.
