Introduction
Skin as white as snow, hair like glittering gold, azure eyes like precious blue gemstones set into sharp features. Whether one likes it or not, such exotic looks turn heads on the streets of western Japan. Yet, among the curious gazes, the swordswoman stands tall and proud.
Setsuka has long maintained a position as Soulcalibur's most execution-heavy character. In Soulcalibur VI, she trades some of that high execution requirement for more accessible inputs and stylish new stances and mechanics.

Unique Mechanics
Three Visions
Setsuka has a unique UI element, the Three Visions, or Snow, Moon and Flowers. These individual elements are their own special gauges and are filled at varying rates by fulfilling different conditions. Once filled, they upgrade some associated moves or stances, and do not deplete between rounds.
• Snow - Wintry Reflection: Pips are earned for normal hits and run counters. 6 pips in total. Upgrades followups from the Wings of Heaven stance (8[B+K]).
• Moon - Moonlit Reflection: Pips are earned for punishes. 4 pips in total. Upgrades Silver Shadow (44B+K).
• Flower - Vernal Reflection: Pips are earned for attack and impact counters. 5 pips in total. Upgrades Shade Buster (2143a:B, 6A+B).
Landing Setsuka's Critical Edge will also provide one pip to each of the Three Visions. Once all Three Visions are fulfilled, Setsuka's next Soul Attack will lethal hit, allowing for a combo extension.
Just Inputs & Shortcuts
Setsuka also has the unique mechanic of having alternative inputs to some of her more iconic, harder-to-execute moves. Performing the shortcut version of a move will come at the cost of doing less damage and spending a bit of meter. On the flip-side, performing the just input rewards the player with more damage and more meter gain.
For example, one can input Shade Buster either via 2143a:B, FC 3a:B or 6A+B. The first two inputs will grant the player extra meter and higher damage while the third input will cost meter and deal reduced damage.
