Overview
In a nutshell
Sonic is currently placed at 22nd on the Brawl tier list due to his lack of reliable finishing moves and below-average match-ups. At the other side, he does have excellent speed, good follow up attacks, good edge-guarding capabilities, good recovery and a measure of unpredictability allowing him to fare decently against much higher tier characters. On the whole, however, his shortcomings outweigh his positive attributes, putting him in the E tier.
