Roberto is Gorin Highschool's Star Goalkeeper. While typically a bit of a loner, he hides his shy tendencies by keeping up his cool-and-collected image. More importantly, he's the only thing standing between keeping his friends Shoma and Natsu from tearing one another apart; acting as the level-headed moderator of their outbursts. In Rival Schools: United by Fate, Roberto teams up with Natsu and Shoma, representatives of their respective sports clubs, only after hearing that Shuichi, a prominent member of every sports club at Gorin, had been attacked. After breaking his arm and being approached by a scout to take up a position as a Forward instead of a Goalkeeper, he once again finds himself teamed up with Natsu and Shoma, as well as the suspicious Momo in investigating her strange assault in Project Justice.
Roberto is a bit of an "all-around" character, with complex and intricate high-damage combos primed for experienced Project Justice players, as well as a serviceable fireball game and explosive launchers out of TC letting even the newest of players rack up some effective damage. His magnum opus is his OTG loops- allowing Roberto to launch and combo into an air command grab, lift the opponent back off the ground, and loop until cooked. This sequence is easy to drop however and is painfully susceptible to a TC punish as a result. While not necessarily the highest of Project Justices' tiers, above all others, when Roberto is on the screen, your ability to Block and Tardy Cancel properly will surely be put to the test.
