Aggressive Pressure. Perfect for players who enjoy offensive momentum and like breaking down defensive opponents with constant pressure and mix-ups. Style. Hwoarang's design, moves, and animations are all incredibly flashy and imposing. High Mobility. Hwoarang's Mishima-style wave dash and RFF backdash give him above average movement. BIG Damage. Strong wall combos and punishes can quickly shift a round.

Multiple stances. Hwoarang revolves around his four stances: Left Foot Forward, Right Foot Forward, Left Flamingo, and Right Flamingo. Large movesets. Hwoarang feels like having access to four characters at once, with each stance offering a full moveset. Below average tracking. Many of his key attacks are linear and susceptible to sidestepping. Pressing a lot of buttons. Sustaining optimal play in long sets can strain your hands if untrained. Heavily Knowledge Dependent.
