Pokken Tournament DX

Introduction

Upon phase shifting from Field to Duel Phase, the direction of movement changes. Assuming the player is facing right, forward is now right while backwards is now left. The Up and Down directions no longer move the character. Instead, it places the character into a High or Low stance, respectively, from which they can perform certain attacks.

However, by simply being in these stances, characters receive different benefits. These are different for each character, but common ones include invulnerability to high / low attacks, counter armor against certain types of attacks, or building resources such as Synergy.

For stances that give Synergy, Support, HP, or shield health, the player must stay in that stance for a short period of time before the resource starts to build.
